Jesus, seen from behind with a white-gold halo, walks out of the open tomb into an orange garden

Jesus in Amber · Made in the Shorts tab

His whole life.
One walk through the fog.

Jesus in Amber follows Jesus from the Bethlehem star to the empty tomb in twenty seconds, without a single cut. Every time the fog rolls in, the world changes around him. It is one prompt in the Pray Production Studio Shorts tab. Here is every word of it, and how to make your own in this style.

Watch the film

The life of Jesus
in twenty seconds.

How Jesus in Amber was made: one prompt in the Pray Production Studio Shorts tab, on Seedance 2.5 at 20 seconds, vertical, with no style preset. Nothing was edited together. The prompt names one amber grade, keeps Jesus seen from behind with a halo, and opens each of five four-second moments with fog rolling across the frame. One 480p draft was rolled and finalized to 1080p, and the voiceover was laid on top afterward.

The short answer

How to make an AI video
of the life of Jesus.

  1. 01

Name the look in the first line.

Amber haze, sepia-orange grade, cream glow, brown-black shadows, soft film grain, 35mm. Five colors and one film stock. Every scene inherits them, so a stable and a storm at sea look like the same film.

  2. 02

Anchor on one figure, seen from behind.

A dark hooded robe and a white-gold halo, and the camera stays behind him. With no face to hold steady, he reads as the same man in every scene, and the halo is where the eye goes.

  3. 03

Let the fog do the cutting.

Split 20 seconds into five 4-second moments and open each one with fog rolling across the frame. The world changes while the fog covers it, so five scenes play as one unbroken walk.

The five moments

Four seconds each.
Fog between them all.

The twenty seconds are written as five timed beats. Each one opens with the fog that carries you in, then gives the place, the camera move and one action. Here is each beat with a frame from the film and its line from the prompt.

  1. The birth, from Jesus in Amber

    01 · 0 to 4s

    The birth

    Opens the film

“Slow steady push-in as Jesus walks toward the stable. His robe sways, fog drifts and the star pulses with cream rays.”

  2. The baptism, from Jesus in Amber

    02 · 4 to 8s

    The baptism

    Fog rolls across the frame

“A white dove descends slowly from a break of bright light in the clouds above him, and ripples spread outward.”

  3. The storm at sea, from Jesus in Amber

    03 · 8 to 12s

    The storm at sea

    Dark fog sweeps through

“The tiny haloed figure walks on the surface of a dark sea inside a huge slowly rotating vortex of orange storm clouds.”

  4. Gethsemane, from Jesus in Amber

    04 · 12 to 16s

    Gethsemane

    Clouds billow and part

“Jesus kneels alone beside a large rock with his head bowed, and his halo is the brightest point in the frame.”

  5. The empty tomb, from Jesus in Amber

    05 · 16 to 20s

    The empty tomb

    Shadowed fog sweeps through

“Jesus rises and walks forward toward the light while the camera follows in a slow forward dolly.”

Tip: Watch your 480p draft against the prompt before you finalize. Seedance took two liberties here: in the river he stands shin-deep, not waist-deep, and in Gethsemane it turned the camera to see his bowed face. Neither broke the walk, so this draft was the keeper. If a fog handoff had missed, a new draft costs a fraction of a 1080p render.

The rules

Why five places
read as one film.

The fog only works because the rest of the prompt holds still around it: one grade, one figure seen from behind, one glowing detail, one camera grammar. These are the phrases doing that work.

In the promptWhat it does
“amber haze, sepia-orange grade, cream glow, brown-black shadows, soft film grain, 35mm”The whole style in one line. It names the colors of the light, the shadows and the highlights, so the model grades every scene the same way. Change this line and you change the style; keep it and any story looks like it belongs in this series.
“Single continuous take.”Tells the model this is one shot, not a montage. Five moments in a row would otherwise come back as five hard cuts.
“seen from behind”The continuity trick. The model never has to hold one face steady through five settings, so the robe, the build and the halo carry who he is.
“a bright white-gold halo behind his head”One glowing detail the eye can always find. Even at 8 seconds, when he is a speck on a dark sea, the halo tells you exactly where he is.
“Each time thick fog rolls across the frame, the world around him transforms into the next scene”Names the transition rule once, up front, so every timed beat after it hands off the same way. The fog already hangs in every scene, so it never looks like an effect.
“the camera pulls back fast to an extreme wide”The one big move in the film. Three slow push-ins and one fast pull-back make the storm feel enormous and keep 20 seconds from feeling flat.
“still moving at the last frame”Ends mid-step instead of on a frozen pose, so the film never stalls in its last second and loops cleanly on Reels and TikTok.
“NO BACKGROUND MUSIC, no music, no score. Audio is natural sound effects only.”Wind, water, footsteps and thunder, and nothing else. It leaves a clean bed to lay a voiceover or your own music over afterward.

The full prompt

Every word
of Jesus in Amber.

Exactly as it was generated in the Shorts tab: Seedance 2.5, 20 seconds, vertical 9:16, no style preset. Open it in Shorts and every setting comes with it.

NO BACKGROUND MUSIC, no music, no score. Audio is natural sound effects only. Keep the image's look exactly for the whole clip: amber haze, sepia-orange grade, cream glow, brown-black shadows, soft film grain, 35mm.

Standing state: One lone bearded man, Jesus, seen from behind. He is slender, wears a dark hooded floor-length robe, has empty hands and a bright white-gold halo behind his head. The setting begins as amber fog over dark ground before a small stable under a brilliant star.

Scene Action: Jesus walks steadily away from camera. Each time thick fog rolls across the frame, the world around him transforms into the next scene of his life, and he ends walking toward the light pouring from an open tomb.

Single continuous take.
0 to 4 s: Slow steady push-in as Jesus walks toward the stable. His robe sways, fog drifts and the star pulses with cream rays. His halo glows.
4 to 8 s: Fog rolls across the frame and clears into a wide river scene. Jesus stands waist-deep in a calm amber river. A white dove descends slowly from a break of bright light in the clouds above him, and ripples spread outward. Very slow push-in.
8 to 12 s: Dark fog sweeps through and the camera pulls back fast to an extreme wide. The tiny haloed figure walks on the surface of a dark sea inside a huge slowly rotating vortex of orange storm clouds. Waves churn around him while the water under his feet stays still.
12 to 16 s: Clouds billow and part into a grove of gnarled olive trees in deep shadow. Jesus kneels alone beside a large rock with his head bowed, and his halo is the brightest point in the frame. Mist curls between the trunks. Slow push-in.
16 to 20 s: Shadowed fog sweeps through into a wide low angle. A giant round stone sits rolled aside from a dark rock-cut tomb on the left, and a glowing orange garden opens ahead. Jesus rises and walks forward toward the light while the camera follows in a slow forward dolly. Mist rolls and his robe sways, still moving at the last frame.

Same look, new story

Moses in Amber.
Same fog, different life.

The style is not about Jesus. It is a grade, a figure seen from behind and a walk through fog, and it holds any life you put in it. Moses in Amber keeps everything that makes the look and swaps the rest: from the burning bush to a last look over the Promised Land.

Keep

  • The amber grade line
  • One figure, always seen from behind
  • Five 4-second moments
  • Fog between every moment
  • One fast pull-back, slow push-ins everywhere else

Change

  • Who walks: a white-haired Moses with a shepherd’s staff instead of a halo
  • The five moments of his life
  • The final image: a hilltop at sunrise instead of an open tomb

Before your first Short

Questions about the amber style.

How do you make an AI video of the life of Jesus?
Pick five moments, give each one four seconds, and write them as one continuous take. In Jesus in Amber those are the stable under the star, the baptism in the Jordan, walking on the stormy sea, Gethsemane and the empty tomb. Keep Jesus seen from behind with a halo, name one color grade for the whole clip, and open every moment with fog rolling across the frame.
What gives the amber fog style its look?
One line of the prompt: amber haze, sepia-orange grade, cream glow, brown-black shadows, soft film grain, 35mm. It sets the color of the light, the shadows and the highlights for every scene. The fog that hangs in each scene softens the backgrounds and keeps the focus on the figure.
How do the scene changes happen without cuts?
The prompt asks for a single continuous take and says that each time thick fog rolls across the frame, the world transforms into the next scene. Each timed beat then opens with fog, dark fog or clouds sweeping through. The scene changes while the fog covers the lens, so it plays as one walk.
Can I make one about Moses, David or Mary?
Yes. Moses in Amber, on this page, is the same style told through Moses. Keep the grade, the figure seen from behind and the fog handoffs, then change who walks, what they carry and the five moments. The template above has a blank for each one.
Is the voiceover part of the generation?
No. The prompt asks for natural sound effects only, with no music, so the generation comes back with wind, water and footsteps. The voiceover in the posted version was added on top afterward.
What is a 480p draft?
Draft 480p renders the take fast and at a fraction of the full price. If you like it, Finalize 1080p re-renders that same take at full resolution, so you only pay full price for the keeper. Jesus in Amber was one draft, finalized.
Can I use this prompt?
Yes. Copy it from the full prompt above, or open it straight in the Shorts tab with the same settings (Seedance 2.5, 20 seconds, vertical), then change the moments to tell your own story.
